10 Steps to Build a Web Site

  1. Choose internet topic for your web site. Identify niche interest areas and unique selling points.
  2. Research web topic of interest using popular internet research tools
  3. Create content for web pages. 
  4. Build web pages. Make content available to the internet. Use tools like Jimdo for rapid web site page development. 
  5. Add style. Find great images, web gadgets, widgets and any other internet add-ons. Perhaps include polls, wickis and social networks to make the site and pages more attractive to the web user. 
  6. Add income streams via internet commerce, shopping pages, ebooks, affiliates and web advertisements.
  7. Add a Blog
  8. Web marketing. Inform the world. Get social. Advertise your web site and get web site visitors.
  9. Monitor site statistics and visitor actions on web pages.
  10. Grow website using knowledge from your visitors behaviours, competitors and others. Keep up with the news and in with the web crowd.
