10 Steps to Build a Web Site
- Choose internet topic for your web site. Identify niche interest areas and unique selling points.
- Research web topic of interest using popular internet research tools
- Create content for web pages.
- Build web pages. Make content available to the internet. Use tools like Jimdo for rapid web site page development.
- Add style. Find great images, web gadgets, widgets and any other internet add-ons. Perhaps include polls, wickis and social networks to make the site and pages more attractive to the web user.
- Add income streams via internet commerce, shopping pages, ebooks, affiliates and web advertisements.
- Add a Blog.
- Web marketing. Inform the world. Get social. Advertise your web site and get web site visitors.
- Monitor site statistics and visitor actions on web pages.
- Grow website using knowledge from your visitors behaviours, competitors and others. Keep up with the news and in with the web crowd.
